I love a good vinaigrette, but what I don’t like are the bad oils that are commonly added to them. Today I will be teaching you How to Make Red Wine Vinaigrette From Scratch!

Something I’m passionate about is giving my family the best I can. Something I got into the habit of doing over time is taking a few moments to check the ingredients on the label of everything I buy. You would really be surprised at the ingredients added to most of the salad dressing on the shelves.
Some ingredients commonly added are soybean oil, canola oil, sugar, EDTA, caramel color, natural flavor, high fructose corn syrup, yeast extract, and that’s just to name a few. Some of these ingredients are linked to chronic inflammation, increased risk of heart disease, headaches or migraines, cancer, and can even mimic estrogen and disrupt your hormones.
To me, that was enough to get me to start making my own salad dressings from scratch. I absolutely do not want anything in our food that is or could potentially be harmful to us.

This recipe was so good that I printed it and saved it in my recipe binder. I didn’t have grapeseed oil so I used extra virgin olive oil and it was still really good. I will be making this frequently, thanks for sharing this recipe!
